About Osage Station Park
This 35-acre Danville park centers around a stunning memorial rose garden with over 1,500 bushes, nearly 100 dedicated to military veterans. The "old west" themed playground nods to the site's railroad history—it's named for the old Osage Station flag stop and the orange trees that once marked the spot. Free parking and plenty of shade from mature trees.
Baseball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts, and walking paths keep families busy, while the peaceful rose garden (established in 1984) draws visitors year-round. The playground got renovated with inclusive, durable equipment that kids love. Popular with morning joggers and dog walkers—leash required—plus picnic areas that book up for weekend parties.
