About Emerald Glen Park
Dublin's largest community park spans multiple sports fields, courts, and the signature "Wave" aquatic complex with its 31,000-square-foot facility featuring pools, waterslide tower, and splash zone. Originally developed in the early 1990s as a model for future Dublin parks, it expanded significantly in 2004 to include the current playground, picnic areas, and full range of athletic facilities from baseball and soccer fields to bocce courts and a skate park.
Walking trails wind through well-maintained landscaping and open spaces perfect for family picnics, while public art installations like Ned Kahn's "Divided Sea" add character throughout the grounds. Open daily with free parking that fills up during weekend soccer tournaments and summer swim sessions—early morning offers the most peaceful experience for joggers and dog walkers before the sports crowds arrive.
