About Dublin Hills Regional Park
This 654-acre Dublin park offers sweeping views from the Calaveras Ridge Regional Trail—on clear days you'll spot the San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate Bridge. The 2-mile trail winds through open grasslands that have remained untouched since the 1800s, plus steep canyons that provide quiet respite from freeway noise below.
Managed by East Bay Regional Park District since 2010, the trails welcome hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. Free parking at the staging area, though it fills up by mid-morning on weekends. The mix of grassland and canyon terrain makes for moderate difficulty hiking—bring water since shade is limited on the ridge sections.
